feeling crafty....

So since I discovered pinterest the other day, I admit it, I have become absolutely obsessed! I can't believe I never thought of checking online for gift tags or subway art to put on the walls at home. I've already found so many ways for my family to spend a little bit of money (on some craft supplies), and to actually decorate our house for Christmas! I seriously can't even wait! I think I want this frame in the picture idea on my door. I'm hung up on wreath ideas. LOVE ornament wreaths. But then again, I am dying to make this and this so bad. There are so many helpful websites and ideas out there that would look cute in my house! I can't wait. So likely this afternoon, I will go on an adventure to our local craft shop and get myself a few supplies so I can craft it up this week!
So, I'm also trying to come up with ideas for my little salon corner I call The Twisted Shear. Right now, it's just a corner in our kitchen. But considering we're renting our home, I think it's pretty rad. I just need to throw some excitement on the walls. I'm struggling between my new found love for what seems to be called subway art, and vintage inspired prints and knick knacks. I'm just stumped. I love all of it!!!
