I'm jamming to old Dance Mix '94. Yeah. Good old Urban Cookie Collective and some 2 Unlimited. Not sure why, but every so often it's like I NEED to go back to the days of reading Christopher Pike and R.L Stine Novels and listening to this CD on my DiscMan over and over. It's funny how I relate the music of Dance Mix '94 to creepy pre-teen horror novels. That is awesome! Maybe that's what I'll read when I'm finished LULLABY. It's hard for me to get into the groove of reading a good book. I love reading, but I never seem to be able to focus very much on sitting down and just having a good read. I really need to do that here soon.
More importantly, Since starting this new job it feels like I need to stay in the Hair industry a bit more than I thought before. It's funny. I LOVE the industry. I love colour. I love meeting people. Making someone feel better about themselves, even the smallest tiniest bit. I really want to be bigger than the chair in my kitchen. I Just need some brains and some balls...

dear life...
Please slow down. Yep that's what I'm asking for. Everyday zooms by and I feel like it's going much too quick!
So I haven't written in a few days. I haven't thought many people would actually enjoy reading a two line post. So I've been waiting to have something to say.
Big news... I got a job! Super exciting. I'm still doing hair at home of course, but now I'm also working for the beauty supplier where I get my colour and styling products. It's actually a lot of fun. Not too crazy busy or stressful. Perfect, considering I haven't honestly worked in just over two years. I was pretty worried when I started that I wouldn't enjoy it, but I truly am. I work with two other girls who are awesome. It's low stress, and the hours are great. I get to spend my mornings with miss Mya and she spends her afternoons with my mom (or Jakes mom). I'm staying positive about it because, well... it's exciting!!!!
I'm about 5 cards away from being finished my Christmas cards. And only a couple more gifts to craft up! I'm really looking forward to the holidays this year. It's likely going tone a total gong show, but it's going to be so much fun watching Mya! I can't wait.
